Challenging Charity Walk: Raising Funds for Accessible Bed

Exciting, exciting, exciting! A very special project is in the works.

We were recently approached by two passionate walkers, Simon and Matt, who call themselves the Walk Inn Wanderers. Having successfully walked to raise money for charity last year, they have now set their sights on raising £2500+ for FVP to provide a brand new, accessible and adjustable bed for the Caravan in Butlins, Skegness.

As many families are well aware, accessible holidays are a rare gem for those with children/young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Although our caravans are already accessible, adding this adjustable bed will open opportunities for even more families with complex needs. Everyone deserves a break, and every family needs quality time together.

Over Easter Weekend 2022, Simon and Matt will be joined by FVP Trustee Magdalena to walk a challenging 114 miles - that's the entirety of the Nene Way route. We are calling for your support - whether that's by donating, spreading the word, or even joining in for a leg of the walk (perhaps Ferry Meadows or Peterborough town centre!).
