Children and Young People's Health Services update

There has been an update on the Children and Young People's Health Services regarding a redeployment of therapists to the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme. This has resulted in the service having to now operate at a reduced capacity.  To access the full letter please click here

Providing school meals during the COVID-19 outbreak

On Wednesday 13th January, the DFE provided updated guidance on pupils attending school receiving free meals.

This guidance has been updated to include information on:

  • How to order vouchers
  • Sending eCodes to families 
  • Supermarkets
  • Redeeming the vouchers

COVID-19 Vaccinations, Healthwatch are looking for your views

Healthwatch is working closely with the local NHS as it rolls out the Covid-19 vaccination programme across our area.

Three vaccines have been approved for use in the UK and two are now available in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

A parents letter has been co-produced detailing information about school attendance during the current lock down period. You can read the full letter here A key point to note is that the LA "have asked schools to work with parent/carers to identify the best way of meeting children and young people’s needs as best they can, whether this is face to face, remote learning or a blended offer."
