PJ Care is a leading provider of specialist neurological care and neuro rehabilitation for people with progressive or acquired neurological conditions. They specialise in the multi-disciplinary care of adults and work with residents, families, charities and the NHS to provide the highest quality care.Family Voice are a local charitable incorporated organisation, they support and empower the parents and carers of children and young people with disabilities. Part of their remit is to provide affordable short breaks for the families of disabled children in Peterborough - and they do so by letting out two caravans; one at Butlins Skegness, and one at Haven Caister. In an amazing display of generosity and community spirit, PJ Care approached Family Voice, offering to cover the running cost of the caravan in Skegness for one year and work in partnership. Christine Nicholls from Family Voice said:“This is an excellent opportunity for us to continue to provide low cost short breaks to families who have a disabled child; last year we provided 30 short breaks, it’s very refreshing to see support coming from PJ Care.”  And Jon Olsen, Regional Manager, Eaglewood said: “PJ Care, through its work supporting families of those residents in its care, understand the importance of keeping families together and the positive impact this can have on people’s well-being.  As a company, we embed our values of Care, Compassion, Commitment in everything we do, and we are absolutely delighted to extend these values to Family Voice through sponsoring holidays opportunities for families who need that extra support. We all know that a sense of well-being is incredibly important for families who often face the toughest of challenges when caring for a loved one; the amazing work that Family Voice does makes such a difference in improving peoples quality of life and we could not be happier to have become involved with this wonderful charity.”
