Queensgate Shopping Centre 'Enabled Event' for carers, people with disabilities & sensory impairment - Friday 7th December

   Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough delighted to announce the return of their annual Enabled Event again on December 7th 2017 from 4pm to 8pm.   Queensgate invite those with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Sensory Impairments and Autism, etc to enjoy a quiet night Christmas Shopping at Queensgate.   Those with disabilities or sensory impairment receive a gift bag and can take light refreshments at key points around Queensgate.  Lighting is subdued with no loud music. Volunteers will be on hand from local organisations to assist with shopping, etc.     Queensgate are looking to organise a drop off point for people with disabilities whether travelling by car, coach or minibus outside John Lewis on Long Causeway this will be announced in the coming weeks once they are notified about the end of the current roadworks.   Last year was a fantastic success with key organisations from across Peterborough offering information and advice to shoppers.  Please support this fantastic event and if you require further information or would like to promote your organisation in Queensgate on the night with a free promotional stand please contact Carol Wakelin, Environment Manager at Queensgate on  carol.wakelin@queensgatecm.co.uk
