Sharing below on behalf of caring together

Good morning,

Caring Together, Centre 33 and Making Space are organising a virtual carers conference aimed at both carers and people who might come into contact with carers on the eve of Carers Rights Day 2022 – Wednesday 23 November 10.00am-5.00pm – There will be standalone sessions throughout the day which people will be able to attend.

Aimed at carers and professionals who might support them (e.g. health and social care, education, employers, community organisations), all of the sessions will be in line with the aim of Carers Rights Day:

  • Ensuring carers and professionals are aware of the rights carers and young carers have.
  • Letting carers and professionals know what help and support is available across the county.
  • Raising awareness of the needs of carers of all ages (including young carers and parent carers).

More details about topics and booking details will follow in the coming weeks.

We are also wanting carers and professionals who might come into contact with carers to help us shape the conference – We are asking for people to vote on what topics they think are the most important at Cambridgeshire virtual carers conference – 23 November 2022 Survey (surveymonkey.co.uk) – this link also gives carers the opportunity to say if they might be interested in helping with any of the planning/delivery of the conference.

We would be really grateful if you could share both the flyer and the poll with any carers or colleagues.

Please do get in touch if you have any questions.
